Zell Miller III - Anatomy of a Riot

Anatomy of a Riot is the latest one man show by the Austin Critics Hall of Fame artist that continues his conversation of what it means to be a black man, a black father, a black artist and black husband in america. Through high energy spoken word and James Baldwin like monologues, Zell's master story telling brings to life his experiences of growing in Austin and how he continues to be overcast by systemic racism and police brutality. And through that, he still pushes for a brighter america for his children and all black people and people of color. Zell teams with his two power house musicians, drummer Thomas Wheeler, and 6 string basses Karlos Charles to bring soundtrack the chaotic times we now are trying to navigate.
